Calgary is also well-known for our outdoor activities and adventures. Our many walking, jogging, biking, in-line skating paths are popular with all. with paths following the cities 2 rivers. Princess Island Park is in the heart of the city and features many outdoor festivals and events. Fish Creek Provincial Park is Canada's largest urban park and stretches over 19 km. Head to the mountains to enjoy a day of skiing, climbing, hiking, flying, zipline, rafting and more. With many golf courses in and around Calgary, golfers have several options with some courses located near the most beautiful settings in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Just south of the city you can visit Spruce Meadows, a world famous equestrian facility for show jumping.
